What is the difference between locum tenens and direct hire/perm?

Locum tenens positions are temporary assignments, typically lasting from a few weeks to several months, where you work as an independent contractor. Direct hire, or permanent, positions are full-time, long-term roles where you are an employee of the facility.

Do I need a license in the state I want to work in?

Yes, you must be licensed in the state where the facility is located. Our team assists with the licensing process to make it as smooth as possible.
